Transforming Rural Healthcare Landscape
Zydus Medical College & Hospital (ZMCH), Dahod, Gujarat, serves tribal and underserved communities in one of India’s most backward districts.
Established under a PPP with the Government of Gujarat, it provides free medical services, creates local employment, and strengthens regional healthcare, with capacity expanded from 150 to 1,034 beds, including 118 ICU beds.
ZMCH offers MBBS (200 seats/year) and postgraduate programs (60+ seats), with 1,000 MBBS students currently enrolled. Hospital-integrated training addresses local health challenges, and the Family Adoption Programme has engaged 2,650 families across five batches.
