Twinrab™
Twinrab™ is a novel monoclonal antibody (mAb) cocktail targeting non-overlapping epitopes on the rabies virus glycoprotein. It is a passive immunization therapy for the post exposure prophylaxis (PEP) of rabies, particularly for Category III exposures, given in combination with rabies vaccination. Twinrab™ is intended as an alternative to plasma derived human or equine rabies immunoglobulins (HRIG/ERIG), addressing limitations related to cost, supply constraints, batch variability, and biosafety risks.
